Privacy

The Good House Hospitality, a family firm based in San José, Costa Rica, is responsible for the information you leave on this site. For anything to do with personal data, write to hola@thegoodhousehospitality.com.

Only what you type. We do not buy lists and we do not obtain your details from third parties.

• From the contact form: your name, your email, your property's name, the type of operation and whatever you tell us in the open field. We use it to reply and to prepare for that conversation.
• From the newsletter form: your email and the language you were browsing in.
• From your visit: aggregate page metrics. We do not use tracking cookies and we do not build a profile of you.

The open field invites you to describe operational problems. Treat that as confidential on your side and we treat it the same: it is not shared with anyone outside the founding team.

Nobody who wants to sell you something. We use three providers to make the site work:

• Vercel (United States) hosts the site and processes form submissions.
• Resend (United States) delivers the emails the form generates.
• Supabase (United States) stores received messages so they are not lost.

Typefaces are served from Google Fonts, which means your IP address reaches Google when the page loads. We are moving to self-hosted fonts to remove that.

We do not sell, rent or trade your data. Ever.

Form messages are kept while the conversation still has commercial sense, and at most three years from the last contact. Then they are deleted.

A newsletter subscription is kept until you unsubscribe. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link that works without asking you for anything.

Under Costa Rica's Law 8968 on the protection of individuals in the processing of personal data, and under the GDPR if you write from the European Union, you can ask us to:

• Send you a copy of everything we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete all of it.
• Stop writing to you.

Write to hola@thegoodhousehospitality.com and we answer within one month. There is no charge and we will not ask you why.

We store one thing in your browser: the language you chose, so we do not ask again. It is not a cookie and it never travels to a server. Clearing site data removes it.
